Connect each client's books.
Read-only, through the accounting system's official connection. The client authorises it once; Reportly never writes to the ledger.
Client reporting software is the layer a practice uses to deliver monthly financials to several companies, on top of each client's own accounting system. Reportly is built for the accountant, bookkeeping firm or fractional CFO who produces the monthly pack for a portfolio of clients: one account, every client company added at one flat price, each client seeing only its own company, and the same pack for every client, in your format or theirs.
Read-only, through the accounting system's official connection. The client authorises it once; Reportly never writes to the ledger.
Your practice's own format, the client's existing pack, or a pre-made pack. The account mapping is reviewed once per company and holds from then on.
Each month every pack refreshes from its own books. The commentary is drafted per client and carried forward from last month; you edit it and send.
The same pack is built ten times, in ten files, every month. In Reportly it is one routine on one account: every client company refreshes from its own books, in its own pack, on the same day.
Mapping is tied to the account, not its name: a new, renamed or merged account lands in a re-map list before the pack is produced, and nothing goes out with an unmapped line.
The budget stays fixed as the yardstick; the forecast is what moves, and every version keeps its date.
A 13-week cash forecast from each client's ledger: opening cash, open receivables and payables, payroll and known commitments.
Each client sees only its own company. Your practice sees all of them from one login, switches between companies and runs the month from one place. Users are counted as on the pricing page: three included on Reporting, more at $15 a month each.
The Reporting plan is $99 a month and includes the first company. Every client company after that is $59 a month, flat: two clients are $158 a month, five are $335, ten are $630. The second company and the twentieth cost the same. Each added company brings its own five report set-ups. Annual billing is 20 percent less.
The outsourced CFO or accountant with two to twenty client companies whose books are kept on QuickBooks Online (or Vecty), and the in-house finance person who runs several group companies from one seat. If you build the same pack by hand for every client, in Excel and PowerPoint, this replaces that routine.
Not for: a practice whose clients report in a parent's format, or one that wants a client portal.
Yes, to their own company only. A client user sees that company's packs and nothing else on your account; you see every company.
Yes. The pack is set up per company: your format for some, the client's own for others, a pre-made pack for the rest. Each refreshes from its own books every month.
$59 a month on Reporting, and the tenth costs the same. Your plan includes the first company; every added company brings its own report set-ups.
