Duplicate the owner-input tab and name it for the team.
Send owners their tab
Each person plans only their own numbers.
Keep categories fixed
Do not let owners invent new lines. That is what breaks consolidation.
Review the roll-up
The summary shows the company total and each department alongside it.

How do I stop owners breaking the roll-up?

Lock the category rows. The template ships with the structure fixed for that reason.

Can departments see each other numbers?

In the spreadsheet, yes. In Reportly, permissions scope each owner to their own view.

Does it handle allocations?

Basic allocations, yes. Complex multi-driver allocations are better handled in dedicated FP&A software.
